Prepare to be amazed as you encounter a vibrant array of marine life, including dentex, tuna, sea bream, wrasse, nudibranchs, conger, octopus, and scorpionfish. Keep an eye out for catfish eggs adorning the magnificent gorgonians.
Begin your adventure by anchoring on the north side of the island at a depth of 5m. From there, descend along the anchoring line towards the awe-inspiring wall, which plummets to a depth of 32m. The entrance to the canyon awaits at 7m, extending down to 26m, with two distinct clefts on either side. At the canyon's base, relish in its 12m width, gradually narrowing to 4m as you approach the surface.
Exiting the canyon, the dive route continues along the right side of the wall, leading you to a submerged pinnacle at 24m, reaching vertically from the wall into the open sea. Marvel at the wall's descent to 48m. Begin your ascent along the left side of the wall, ultimately navigating through the canyon back to the plateau.
Underwater enthusiasts will delight in the rich tapestry of flora and fauna adorning this underwater realm. Experience the brilliance of vivid red gorgonians, emerging at 28m, followed by stunning yellow gorgonians beyond 38m. These vibrant colors are accentuated by bustling schools of fish, such as dentex and tuna, embarking on their journey to the open sea. Explore the countless holes, terraces, and hiding spots teeming with soft coral and sponges. Keep a close eye on the gorgonians for a chance to spot catfish eggs. The canyon itself, adorned with colorful sponges, serves as a sanctuary for a variety of exquisite nudibranch species. The wall and its crevices are the hiding spots of choice for conger, octopus, and lobster. If luck is on your side, you may even be joined by a group of dolphins along the way to the dive site.
With an impressive visibility of 19m and a maximum depth of 30m, divers of all levels, from beginners to advanced and expert, can partake in this extraordinary aquatic expedition.
