Double Rock Goli
Double Rock is a remarkable dive site located at the beginning of Goli's island, just 100 meters away from Big Rock. These dive sites offer a similar experience, with our anchor spot positioned in front of a small plateau that lies at a depth ranging from 5 to 8 meters. This dive site is characterized by a captivating pinnacle formation.
As you explore Double Rock, you will encounter an abundance of marine life, including damselfish, nudibranchs, octopus, and breams. Additionally, the site offers sightings of conger eels, scorpionfish, John Dory, and various species of wrasse.
Our dive begins at a depth of 5 meters, following the anchor line. From there, we venture across the plateau until we reach a wall that descends into the depths. Throughout this wall dive, be sure to keep it to your left shoulder. At approximately 40 meters deep, you will discover a small rock adorned with vibrant sponges, sizable conger eels, octopus, and nudibranchs.
Double Rock caters to divers of all skill levels, making it an ideal destination for beginners and experienced divers alike. The gradual increments of its underwater features ensure there are suitable depths for every diver, such as 8 meters, 15 meters, 20 meters, and the bottom of the pinnacle at around 40 meters deep.
On your return journey, maintain the wall on your left side and you will come across a captivating canyon with a sandy bottom, located at a depth of approximately 15 meters, nestled between Goli Island and the rock's wall. Additionally, Goli's wall possesses a cave at a depth of approximately 10 meters. During your safety stop near the anchor, you can once again admire the plateau's diverse marine life, including damselfish, nudibranchs, octopus, and breams. The anemone is a particularly fruitful spot for spotting glass anemone shrimp and spider crabs.
With visibility reaching up to 17 meters and a maximum depth of 26 meters, Double Rock promises an unforgettable diving experience.
