El Fitó / Tres Pics
At a depth of 19 meters, divers can anchor and explore two different routes, with a maximum depth of 24 meters. To fully appreciate the diverse marine life, it is highly recommended to use Nitrox for this dive.
This particular dive site offers an abundance of marine species including spits, octopus, moray eels, bream, and banks of castanets. Seahorses can also be spotted during the summer months.
Located near Roca Muladera and separated by a field of poseidonia, the dive site is known as Fitó or the "Roca dels Tres Pics". It features a mountain range with three prominent peaks. Descending the south face, divers will encounter a parallel rock starting at eleven meters, leading to a canyon resting at a depth of nineteen meters.
For beginner divers, the first option is to circumnavigate the three peaks, using the mountainous wall as a reference point on the left-hand side. Advanced divers have two choices based on visibility. If visibility is more than fifteen meters, divers can follow a course of 160º to reach the Seca de Llevadó area. Alternatively, they can follow the twenty-four meter line towards Poniente until they find the most isolated rocks in the Muladera area. On clear days, the mountains of Fitó offer unparalleled opportunities for capturing stunning underwater photographs.
This dive site is located in Spain, specifically in Cami de Ronda, Santa Maria de Llorell, Tossa de Mar, Selva, Girona, Catalonia, 17320, Spain. It is suitable for both beginner and advanced divers.
