S´Esquinçe

Located in front of the Lloret Castle and heading 150º from Sa Caleta Beach, divers will discover a hidden gem at a depth of 25 meters. This dive site features a scattered sandbank with a gradual descent to a maximum depth of 32 meters. Known as S'esquinça, this site is reminiscent of Barra de Fenals, boasting a 'torn' bar where lobsters and moray eels seek refuge in the abandoned pots left by fishermen.

Exploring S'esquinça can be challenging due to the lack of prominent landmarks. However, divers can rely on their compass to navigate the route back to the anchor point. Keep an eye out for the occasional Milana, a magnificent species found between the S'esquinça bar and the Dentol rock.

For safety reasons, it is mandatory for divers to use a signal buoy as there may be passenger ships in the area. The visibility in these waters is approximately 10 meters, offering divers a decent view of the marine life and underwater landscape. This dive site is recommended for advanced divers due to its maximum depth of 26 meters.

S'esquinça is situated near the Cami de Ronda, la Montgoda, in the vibrant coastal town of Lloret de Mar. Located in the Selva region of Girona, Catalonia, Spain, diving enthusiasts will have the opportunity to explore the rich underwater world of this picturesque Mediterranean country.
