Mushroom Rock

Mushroom Rock, located on the west side of Phi Phi Ley in Thailand, is a popular dive site for beginners. It is the first site you will encounter after reaching the northern tip of the island. The site is characterized by large pinnacles that rise to the surface, with one pinnacle uniquely shaped like a mushroom.

Divers at Mushroom Rock can expect to encounter vibrant soft coral and a variety of marine life, including schools of yellowback fusiliers, barracudas, and golden trevallies. Turtles and black tip reef sharks can also be spotted in the shallower parts of the site.

With a maximum depth of 17m and visibility reaching up to 12m, Mushroom Rock offers an enjoyable and accessible diving experience. It is a great location to explore for divers at the beginner level.
