King Cruiser
King Cruiser is one of the top wreck dive sites in Asia, particularly in Thailand. It sank on May 4th, 1997 and now rests at a depth of over 30m, with the highest point of the wreck at around 18m. This dive site is perfect for experienced and technical divers. You'll encounter an abundance of fish schools and stunning coral formations.
The King Cruiser site offers a variety of marine life, including soft corals, large schools of Barracuda, Trevally, and Snapper. If you're lucky, you might catch a glimpse of Turtles, Blacktips, Leopard, and Bamboo Sharks, and if you're incredibly fortunate, even a sighting of a Whale shark!
Considered one of the best dives in Phuket, the King Cruiser is a bona fide shipwreck. It struck the Anemone Reef while following its regular route between Phuket and Phi Phi Islands. This 85-meter long car ferry now rests upright on the sandy bottom, mostly intact, although the upper decks have collapsed.
With a visibility of 10m and a maximum depth of 26m, this dive site is recommended for advanced divers. Located in Phang-nga Province, Thailand, the King Cruiser dive site offers an unforgettable experience for those seeking underwater adventure.
