Mas Thila

Mas Thila, located in the beautiful backdrop of Kandu Thila, is a must-visit dive site in the Maldives. Unlike its neighboring site, Mas Thila offers a bit more shelter due to its proximity to a long reef called a faru. This makes it a perfect alternative for divers seeking a captivating underwater experience without the strong currents.

With its reef top situated at a depth of 8 meters, Mas Thila gradually drops to about 30 meters, unveiling an enchanting underwater world. The mild currents allow for a leisurely descent, granting divers ample time to appreciate the awe-inspiring beauty of the top reef.

True to its name, Mas Thila teems with an abundance and variety of fish life. Tunas, large barracudas, and impressive schools of fusiliers, snappers, and banner fish can be spotted throughout the dive.
