Rasdhoo North Channel
Located on the north/northeast side of Rasdhoo Atoll in Maldives, the North Channel is a must-visit dive site for competent open water divers. With an average depth of 20m and visibility reaching up to 22m, this relatively shallow channel offers an exhilarating underwater experience. However, it is essential to plan your visit wisely as the currents can be quite strong.
One of the highlights of diving in the North Channel is the opportunity to witness majestic mantas. These magnificent creatures can be spotted at various shallow cleaning stations within the channel. Even outside of the Manta Season, divers can still enjoy encounters with honeycomb moray eels, stingrays, lionfish, leaf fish, and whitetips.
For advanced and expert divers seeking thrilling underwater adventures, the North Channel presents an ideal diving destination. Its proximity to Rasdhoo, Alif Alif, Maldives makes it easily accessible for divers looking to explore the wonders of the deep.
