Airplane Wreck

In 2021, a single-engine plane with a capacity of 6 passengers met an unfortunate incident and now rests in approximately 24 meters of water. Fortunately, all passengers survived the incident. Although there isn't much to explore around the plane, it still offers an intriguing sight. The plane is lying flat on the seabed.

Due to its relative newness, there may not be an abundance of marine life surrounding the wreckage. However, it has the potential to attract lionfish in the future, making it a possible favorite spot for divers equipped with spears.

Divers of various skill levels, ranging from beginners to advanced, can enjoy exploring this underwater site. The visibility in the area is around 21 meters, providing a decent viewing experience. The maximum depth at this location is also 21 meters.

This dive site is located in Útila, Bay Islands, Honduras and offers a unique opportunity for divers to explore underwater wreckage in a picturesque setting.
