Spotted Bay
The reef at Spotted Bay is anchored in a sandy area, gradually leading divers towards a partially defined wall. While not as distinct as other sites at Turtle Harbor, it still presents an intriguing underwater landscape. Another wall can be found further out, requiring a longer swim from the main wall.
One of the highlights of diving in Spotted Bay is the opportunity to encounter nurse sharks. These magnificent creatures are frequently spotted here, making it an ideal place for lionfish hunting due to the unique terrain features.
To start your dive, enter the water and follow the channel towards the wall, which gradually descends to around 30 meters. Whether you choose to explore in either direction, you're in for an unforgettable dive. However, instead of following the wall, you can opt to venture out across the sandy and coral areas, where the ocean floor eventually slopes downward, offering depths beyond 40 meters.
