This dive site is perfect for specialty training, offering ideal conditions for navigation, night dives, and rescue practices. Convenient parking facilities are available, and in case of unfavorable weather conditions, divers can utilize the waiting room of the nearby cable car.
In Lake Biel, you can expect to encounter various fish species throughout the summer and autumn months. Common sightings include perch, pike, crabs, and occasionally even catfish in the Mars rover area.
Please exercise caution when entering the water, as the lowest step can be slippery. Keep an eye on the waves for a safe exit from the dive. During the summer, be mindful of cyclists using the nearby cycle path, especially near the entrance. Moreover, many different objects have been intentionally placed underwater to enhance the diving experience.
