Lime Kiln, Carriacou

Located at the left side of Tyrrel Bay in Grenada, this dive site offers a delightful shallow drift dive with the possibility of encountering various fascinating marine creatures. While the current can sometimes be strong, the patch reef and rocks at a maximum depth of 12m/36f provide an ideal setting for beginner divers.

Amongst the rocks, one can often spot enchanting octopuses, lobsters, and eels. Rays gracefully swim or find refuge and nourishment in small sand patches. As we start the dive just inside Tyrrel Bay, we drift along a ridge of reef and rocks, where encounters with octopuses, eels, lobsters, and rays are common. The strength of the current can vary depending on tides, adding an element of excitement to the exploration.
