MADUVVARI HAA

This beautiful thila, known as Maduvvari Haa, is located southwest of Le Meridien Maldives in Lhaviyani, Maldives. A thila is an underwater mount that doesn't reach the surface and is full of life. The reef starts at around 5-8 meters and goes down to a maximum depth of 30 meters. Divers of all levels can explore this site.

To the southwest of the thila, you'll find a stunning overhang, while the northeast boasts a captivating coral garden dominated by hard corals. Keep an eye out for an impressive gathering of blue line snappers, which interestingly are yellow in color. There are also several groupers present. For those interested in marine life hiding under rocks and corals, you may spot some lobsters, although their bodies are usually concealed.

During your dive, don't forget to watch for the elegant dogtooth tunas and eagle rays that frequently circle the thila. The visibility of the water here is approximately 19 meters, allowing for clear and picturesque views.
