EGAARA THILA

Located just 20 minutes to the north east of Le Meridien Maldives in Lhaviyani, Maldives, this dive site offers an enjoyable and hassle-free experience for divers of all levels. With its vibrant and thriving hard coral gardens at a depth of approximately 5 meters, it serves as the perfect starting and ending point of a dive. The site boasts a maximum depth of 25 meters, featuring a spectacular large coral block in the north east at around 20 meters depth.

Divers will be delighted by the presence of schooling blue line snappers, as well as a variety of colorful reef fish including surgeon fish, angel fish, and numerous damsels. Keep an eye out for visiting turtles indulging in their feeding and resting activities, and don't be surprised if you come across playful octopus as well.
