Moon Valley

Moon Valley is a superb channel dive site located near Kuda Haa in the same channel to the south-east of Hilton Maldives Amingiri. Situated directly at the channel mouth, Moon Valley offers an exhilarating drift dive along a captivating wall. For the more adventurous divers, exploration of the two thilas in the channel is also a possibility. Depending on the current, you can either drift into the channel or start there and drift towards the outer reef.

This pristine dive site boasts impressive marine life throughout the year. From January to April, during the north-east monsoon, divers have excellent chances of encountering majestic mobulas, which closely resemble manta rays but are slightly smaller. Eagle rays and napoleon wrasses can be seen all year round as well. As the day progresses, keep a lookout for tunas hunting amid the bustling schools of fusiliers. On the top reef, you'll marvel at the presence of emperors, oriental sweetlips, and captivating displays of schooling fish.

With a maximum depth of 26m and visibility reaching an impressive 25m, Moon Valley appeals to divers of all levels.
