Hammerhead
The dive site boasts a captivating underwater landscape with a series of fingers extending from shallow waters around 10 meters to a maximum depth of approximately 18 meters. Initially, divers will encounter a rocky face in the shallows which gradually transitions into expansive kelp beds as they venture deeper. This diverse ecosystem offers numerous swim-through opportunities and a charming small arch located at the end of one of the reef fingers.
From December to March, divers have the chance to witness the majestic presence of hammerhead sharks, which are frequently spotted during the summer months. In addition to these impressive creatures, the reef is teeming with an abundant array of marine life including rays, leather jackets, trevally, kingfish, kahawai, and other fascinating inhabitants.
For a convenient and secure diving experience, it is recommended to anchor in the sandy bottom nearby and swim towards the enchanting reef.
