Take note of the wave lines that traverse the bay, guiding you through your underwater exploration. Eventually, you will discover captivating rocky reefs, adorned in a beautiful purple hue. These reefs are home to a variety of marine life such as blennies, nudibranches, small crayfish, and if you're fortunate, even pipefish. As a responsible diver, it is advisable to carry a clean-up or catch bag as some sections of the dive site tend to accumulate washed-up rubbish, mostly fishing-related waste, plastic bottles, and occasionally lost dive fins. Please exercise caution as visibility may be influenced by wave action.

Whangarei Shores is truly a diver's paradise, offering an extraordinary experience for both day and night dives. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced diver, you will find this captivating location an absolute delight. Embark on your underwater adventure and immerse yourself in the wonders of Whangarei Shores.
