The MUC (Majestic Unicorn Cove)
The MUC is a remarkable dive site in New Zealand, located at 38 Harbour View Road, Leigh, Rodney, Auckland. This site offers a stunning late afternoon/early evening dive experience. The cove gradually slopes from shallow waters to over 20m depth on the sandy seabed. Divers should exercise caution when navigating the steep steps from the carpark.
Underwater, divers can expect to encounter a diverse array of marine life, including octopus, snapper, kingfish, schools of maomao, goat fish, stingrays, and eagle rays. With a visibility of approximately 7m and a maximum depth of 11m, this dive spot is suitable for advanced and expert divers.
