Dolphin House

Dolphin House (Gota Shaab el Erg) is an incredible dive site located west of the main reef, Shaab El Erg, in Egypt's Red Sea Governorate. This popular spot is renowned for its resident dolphins that frequently swim in and out of the channel formed by the reef, offering amazing encounters to divers. However, it's important to note that the channel can generate a moderate current.

Among the captivating marine life found at Dolphin House, you'll have the opportunity to witness the graceful presence of a 2m long Napoleon wrasse, as well as the sighting of large rays. The main reef, Shaab el Erg, adopts a unique huff-shaped structure and encompasses a sandy lagoon, dotted with enchanting small reef blocks. This setup creates a favorable environment where dolphins can find nourishment and rest.

Exploring Dolphin House allows you to venture into a separate piece of reef, offering a delightful one-hour circular route. Here, you'll encounter an array of captivating creatures like starfish, nudibranchs, moray eels, scorpion fish, stonefish, and, if you're lucky, turtles. With a maximum depth of 15m and visibility of 22m, this dive site is suitable for divers of all levels, including beginners.

Dive into the enchanting world of Dolphin House at Poseidon Reef in Egypt's Red Sea Governorate, and experience the awe-inspiring beauty and marine life this location has to offer.
