Immerse yourself in the intriguing history of the Arroyo, originally built in 1921. This remarkable vessel was equipped with cisterns, fulfilling its mission of distributing drinking water to other boats and the esteemed French army troops. Boasting a length of 55 meters and weighing an impressive 682 tons, this marvel housed an 875 HP engine. Its service in Indochina continued until 1953 when it was repatriated to Toulon by the French Navy. However, during the planned sinking, a fortuitous turn of events occurred. Instead of obediently descending into the depths, a gentle current carried the ship away, resulting in a collision with the rocky reef of the two brothers, severely damaging the hull.
