Pointe Escampobariou

The renowned chimney, starting at a depth of -6 m and rising along the drop-off to approximately -18 m, is a distinctive characteristic of the Giens peninsula. Situated beneath one of the most challenging capes to maneuver during strong out winds, it serves as the easternmost gateway to the Toulon harbor. This site boasts a diverse marine life, abundant with octopus and conger eels. Occasionally, strong currents can be experienced, particularly after periods of mistral winds. With a visibility of 19m and a maximum depth of 22m, this dive location is suitable for both beginner and advanced divers.
