Calanque de Pouars Plane
This dive spot, also known as Pouars or Port de Plane, offers divers a well-protected cove that resembles a small port. Access to the left-hand rock is only possible in calm seas through a small tunnel that passes outside the cove at depths ranging from 4 to 8 meters. Beyond the cove, you'll find two rocky peaks at approximately 12 meters and a ridge at 20 meters, with a maximum depth of 35 meters.
Underneath the water, divers can expect to encounter a variety of marine life. Sea bream can be spotted swimming under the boat, while dentex can be found in the open water. Schools of sars, mullets, moray eels, and a few groupers also roam the area. Keep an eye out for hidden treasures as well, such as mostelles, scorpion fish, and capons hiding under the rocks.
With a visibility of 14 meters and a maximum depth of 18 meters, this dive site is suitable for divers of all levels, from beginners to advanced and expert divers. Located in France, specifically in Pierre Qui Tramolle, Sentier des Douaniers, Les Goudes, 8th Arrondissement, Marseille, Bouches-du-Rhône, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, Metropolitan France, it provides an exciting underwater experience for divers seeking adventure in the vibrant waters of the Mediterranean.
