Sunabe Beach 砂辺No1

Sunabe Beach, located in Chatan Town, Japan, is a popular diving spot that is easily accessible, just a 40-minute drive north from Naha City. This dive site offers a beach entry and reaches a maximum depth of around 15 meters. The average visibility is approximately 14 meters, providing divers with clear views of the underwater world.

Divers can encounter various fascinating marine life including rock damsels, cross damsels, falcon fish, clownfish, hammerhead clownfish, and even clownfish resembling the famous character Nemo. Venturing further offshore towards the sandy areas, divers can also discover rare gobies like the Yashia Goby and the Hirenaga threadfin goby, as well as jawfish.

One of the main attractions of this diving location is the mesmerizing display of soft coral that blankets the sea floor, earning it the name "coral flower garden" among divers.
