Rozi

The Rozi, a tugboat that once operated in the Grand Harbour of Valletta, now rests as an artificial reef and underwater tourist attraction. Scuttled in 1992, this wreck offers scuba divers the opportunity to explore its fascinating features. With a length of approximately 35 meters, the Rozi lies upright on a sandy bottom, starting at a depth of 20 meters with its mast, and extending down to 30-35 meters where the majority of the wreckage can be found.

Divers visiting this site in the water will be treated to a diverse array of marine life. Among the species that can be encountered are Mediterranean sea bream, stingrays, moray eels, grouper, common octopus, cuttlefish, red starfish, damselfish, and various other reef fishes. The visibility in these waters reaches up to 21 meters, allowing for excellent viewing opportunities.

This dive site is recommended for advanced and expert level divers. The maximum depth of the Rozi wreck is 31 meters, requiring a certain level of skill and experience to navigate safely.
