HMS Stubborn

MV Imperial Eagle, a historic wreck dive in the waters of Malta, offers an unforgettable underwater experience for advanced and expert divers. Originally a ferry boat that operated between Malta and Gozo, this 45-meter long vessel was scuttled in 1999 to create an artificial reef and dive attraction in a designated marine conservation area.

With a maximum depth of 47m, the MV Imperial Eagle wreck stretches between 25 and 42 meters underwater. Divers have the opportunity to explore its spacious rooms and corridors, making for an adventurous and immersive exploration.

Located off the coast of Malta, this dive site offers excellent visibility of up to 17m. The close proximity to the Wreck of HMS Stubborn, Triq Il-Kosta, Naxxar, Northern Region, 1772, Malta adds to the convenience and appeal of diving in this area.
