Teti (Wreck)
The Teti, a 72-meter long steamship, is a renowned dive site located on a sandy bottom where it sank in 1930. Divers are drawn to its captivating spare steering wheel, which is surrounded by moray eels and conger. As the only fishing-free area on Vis island, this site offers a high chance of encountering conger eels in the deepest part of the wreck.
With its origins tracing back to 1883 in America, the Teti's unfortunate collision with a reef near the coast resulted in the safe rescue of its entire crew by local fishermen. Over time, the ship became stranded until it eventually disappeared underwater due to the winter storms.
Divers can expect excellent visibility of up to 20 meters at this site, allowing for a clear exploration of its mesmerizing underwater world. With a maximum depth of 28 meters, the Teti caters to divers of all levels, from beginners to advanced and expert divers. Situated in the breathtaking Split-Dalmatia County, Croatia, this dive site offers an exceptional diving experience in the stunning waters of Croatia.
