T'pot

The T'Pot wreck, also known as Brigitta, is a notable dive site in the waters of the United Kingdom. This armed merchant vessel met its demise on December 4, 1917, when it was mined during its voyage from Barry to Dieppe. Today, the wreck is found at a depth of 20m and is divided into three parts: an upside-down stern, boilers, and midships/bow.

Divers exploring the T'Pot wreck can expect to encounter a variety of marine life typical for the area, such as Tomato Blennies, Crabs, and Lobsters. However, it is the presence of large Congers in the Boiler area that truly sets this dive site apart.

Despite its historical significance, the exact identity of the wreck remains uncertain, possibly due to damage inflicted by another ship after its sinking. This explains why the Boilers are positioned at a 45-degree angle to the rest of the wreck. Located near the South Pullar Cardinal Buoy, the T'Pot wreck offers a maximum depth of 17m and visibility of approximately 3m. This makes it suitable for divers of beginner to advanced levels.

For those planning a dive at the T'Pot wreck, it is conveniently located near Boulder Bank in England, with the postal code PO20 0FP, United Kingdom.
