Late September brings an added spectacle to this dive site, as it marks the mating season for sea hares. These unique creatures can be found in various aqua sutra poses throughout the area. The result of their courtship is evident in the spring, with an abundance of adorable sea hare babies.

The clade Anaspidea, commonly known as sea hares, are medium to large opisthobranch gastropod mollusks with a soft internal shell composed of protein. Their presence adds an extra layer of intrigue to this vibrant dive location.
