The name Jurassic Park stems from the presence of numerous fossils adorning the nearby rocky beach. This extraordinary location offers diverse terrain within a single dive. Begin your adventure traversing a shallow, grassy plateau where you may be fortunate enough to spot a seahorse. Continue along the wall, exploring the countless cracks with the aid of your torch light. Encounter resident conger eels, lobsters, and scorpions, making underwater photographers' dreams come true. With a keen eye, you might even discover some captivating macro subjects. The variety of nudibranches you encounter depends on the season. Take a moment to hover above the sandy areas and marvel at flounders, pipefish, and octopuses. During the mating season, witness the grandeur of the largest sea slug on our planet - the predatory Tethys Fimbria. And while enjoying a cup of coffee on the boat between dives, be prepared for occasional sightings of frolicking dolphins in the bay of Piran.
