Los Pirangeles
This dive site in the water is a haven for underwater photographers, macro enthusiasts, and divers seeking an easy shallow dive teeming with vibrant marine life. Los Pirangeles, located in the warm waters of the Northern Adriatic, has become increasingly popular among divers in recent years due to its stunning scenery. The dive begins at a sandy spot at a depth of 5 meters and gradually progresses to a maximum depth of 12 meters. As you descend, a small vertical wall emerges and extends down to 15 meters, creating numerous hiding spots for a diverse range of marine creatures. With a visibility of 8 meters, divers can expect to encounter a variety of fascinating sea creatures, including seahorses, nudibranchs, pipefish, and if you carefully inspect the Snakelocks anemone, you may even spot the extraordinary Shrimp retainer (Periclimenes amethysteus). One of the highlights of diving at this location is the incredible sight of juvenile Amber Jacks schooling near the shore during September. Their curiosity makes for an unforgettable experience as you swim among these magnificent fish. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced diver, Los Pirangeles offers an ideal diving experience in the pristine waters of the Adriatic Sea.
