The dive site is located in the 22, Thames-Coromandel District, Waikato area of New Zealand. It is known for its strong currents on the northern side of the rock and is often exposed to wind and swell. Dives at this location range in depth from 7 to 20 meters and offer easy navigation.

This dive site is particularly suitable for advanced divers, with a maximum depth of 19 meters. The visibility underwater is around 8 meters, allowing divers to encounter a diverse range of marine life, including porcupine fish and other common species found in New Zealand.
