Rock Point West is located on the southwest corner of Apo Island, adjacent to Rock Point East. The dive site features a steep slope leading to a plateau at the southern tip, where the current is often stronger. With a visibility of 17m and a maximum depth of 21m, this site is ideal for beginner divers.

Underwater, Rock Point West is home to a variety of marine life. Resident longnose emperor fish have claimed this area as their residence, while hawksbill turtles can be observed feeding in the shallow part of the reef, which forms a captivating psychedelic soft coral garden.
