Maaya Thila

Located in the Maldives, this dive site was once recognized as one of the world's top 10 destinations for divers. Its popularity stems from an unforgettable diving experience, particularly during night dives. Despite some damage on the top of the Thila, which is attributed to diver error, the site remains acceptable and enjoyable from a depth of 12m onwards. At night, divers can witness the thrilling presence of giant trevally and white tips hunting amidst the underwater surroundings.

The Thila showcases breathtaking deep pinnacles that are home to a plethora of magnificent grey reef sharks, surrounded by vibrant schools of glass fish.
