Jordfall
Whether you're a beginner, advanced, or expert diver, our site caters to all levels of experience. The dive area features a mainly silty bottom with rocky areas and an interesting crevice, creating a diverse underwater landscape for exploration.
Diving in three different directions, you can choose to go left, straight ahead, or right from the small bay. Swimming straight ahead or to the right will lead you to a silty bottom, while heading left will take you to a rocky slope. When entering the water, walk down to the left of the jetty, where the water is shallow. Continue until you reach a suitable depth to put on your fins. Take note that the water gets deep quickly as you reach the slope, so it's important to maintain positive buoyancy.
Exploring the left side of the dive site, you'll encounter a stony patch with abundant fish and crayfish at a maximum depth of 15 meters. Above the stony patch, there is a small wall with a beautiful crevice where you can spot intriguing marine life such as blue striped square lobsters, Yarrel's blennies, tadpole fish, and topknots, among others. If you continue further left, either with a scooter or by swimming, you'll discover a deeper wall starting at around 20 meters.
For those who choose to swim straight ahead or to the right from the bay, the silty bottom reveals a fascinating array of underwater inhabitants. Keep an eye out for Norwegian crayfish, fireworks anemones, phosphorescent sea pens, tall sea pens, and during the autumn and winter seasons, bobtail squid may make an appearance.
It is important to be mindful of the eelgrass when entering and exiting the water. With a visibility of around 6 meters and a maximum depth of 22 meters, divers of all levels can enjoy the captivating beauty of this dive site in Jordfall, Sweden.
