Jema

This dive site is a ridge or reef that extends from the main reef, sloping towards the deep in a south easterly direction. It starts at a depth of 5 meters and drops off to 30 meters, providing a diverse and vibrant underwater experience. Similar to other sites in this region, it is teeming with life and color, with numerous active tropical fish thriving amidst impressive soft and hard coral formations.

Discover an array of marine species at this location, including Green and Hawksbill sea turtles, grey, blacktip and whitetip reef sharks, anemones and their accompanying clownfish, as well as sea fans, starfish, banded sea kraits, moray eels, angelfish and more.

Located between Volivoli Beach Resort and the Vatu-i-Ra Conservation Reserve, Midway Reef gets its name from its strategic midpoint position. This dive spot offers incredible dive sites filled with an abundance of color, biodiversity and thriving marine life. The boat ride out to the site typically takes around 45 minutes, during which you can appreciate the stunning Suncoast coastline and pass by several local villages.
