Yucab Reef

Yucab, located in Cozumel, Mexico, is a popular dive spot for both beginner and advanced divers. This shallower reef boasts vibrant colors and a healthy marine ecosystem, featuring a variety of hard coral species and enormous barrel sponges. Due to the typically strong currents, Yucab is best explored as a drift dive.

Divers can expect thrilling encounters with magnificent wildlife, including spotted eagle rays, nurse sharks, turtles, stingrays, moray eels, and an endemic species known as the Splendid toadfish, which can only be found in Cozumel.

With an impressive visibility of 27 meters and a maximum depth of 17 meters, Yucab provides an excellent underwater experience for divers of all levels. Its close proximity to Kilómetro Ocho y Medio, Cozumel, Quintana Roo, 77600, Mexico, makes it easily accessible for dive charters.
