Punta Sur - Devil’s Throat

One of the most famous passages in this area is Devil's Throat, located at the southernmost end. The entry point starts around 27m/90 feet deep and descends to depths of 42m/140 feet through a lengthy and narrow downward cavern.

At Devil's Throat, divers have the chance to encounter a variety of marine life, including large reef sharks, occasional hammerheads, eagle rays, and other majestic rays. The caverns within this dive site are also home to a population of large lionfish.
