USS New York (Wreck)
The sole known wreck of an American pre-dreadnought warship worldwide, this site attracts divers from across the globe due to its rich historical significance and unique architectural design. In addition to its allure, this stunning WWII wreck harbors an abundant array of marine life, including schools of spadefish and sweepers, Jacks, butterflyfish, groupers, and trumpetfish.
Situated in close proximity to a thriving port area, the underwater conditions at this site can sometimes be challenging, characterized by less-than-ideal water quality and limited visibility. Exploring the exterior of the ship alone will require a minimum of two dives, while those interested in venturing into the ship's interior chambers will need to allocate even more time.
With a maximum depth of 27m and visibility ranging around 4m, this site is best suited for advanced divers who possess the necessary skills and experience.
