By spreading your fingers, you can get a good idea of the intricate reef formations that resemble tongues. The main reef is supplemented by several smaller reef walls that jut out, creating a unique visual pattern when combined with the sandy areas in between.
Towards the western end of Las Lenguas, there are two notable photo opportunities for underwater enthusiasts. The first is a stunning window within the furthest reef, providing the perfect framing for a classic photograph. Additionally, just slightly north of the window, there is a small archway formed within the reef. Divers have the unique opportunity to swim through the archway and emerge on the other side, offering another excellent photo opportunity.
