Punta Tiñosa Cave
This dive site boasts a unique underwater landscape due to its volcanic origin, offering divers a diverse range of features within the Canary Islands. The area is characterized by deep underwater cliffs that descend beyond 40 meters just off the coast, as well as extensive platforms featuring caves and veriles (underwater cliffs).
Lanzarote's underwater landscapes are home to a plethora of small animals, some of which are rarely seen by divers in other islands, such as the elusive Canary lobster. The waters of Lanzarote are teeming with vibrant marine life, but divers need not worry about encountering dangerous species. The marine species found here are generally calm and not overly elusive. Divers may have the fortunate opportunity to encounter angelfishes, large groupers, or even hammerhead sharks, without any cause for alarm.
Safety is of utmost importance during dives, and divers are encouraged to exercise common sense, prudence, and respect. Staying informed about the dive conditions and marine life is crucial. Lanzarote offers a multitude of fascinating sights, including vibrant orange coral, the elusive rosemary captain fish, and swarms of shrimp that inhabit numerous submerged caves throughout the island.
Our primary objective is to promote responsible diving practices that prioritize environmental preservation and seek continuous improvement.
