The Abyss S’Esparta

The Abyss is a captivating dive site located near Esparta Island in Ibiza, Spain. This platform offers a gradual slope reaching a depth of 13/15m to the south, forming a semi-circle. However, on the west side, divers will encounter a striking wall drop off that descends to 22m and continues into even deeper waters.

The Abyss is an ideal diving spot, perfect for both beginner and intermediate divers. Its diverse topography and marine life provide an exciting underwater experience for all skill levels.

Visibility at The Abyss is an impressive 17m, allowing divers to admire the breathtaking surroundings and observe the vibrant marine ecosystem. Throughout the season, the site showcases a remarkable transformation. From May to July, divers will encounter fascinating creatures such as octopus, amberjack, barracuda, morey eels, and nudibranch. As the season progresses, Denton, Tuna, and other predatory fish make their presence known.
