Sharks Tongue

Sharks Tongue is a challenging dive site located east of Mulah Island in the Maldives. This site is specifically for advanced or expert divers due to the strong currents present. The main attraction of Sharks Tongue is the reef slope, which extends to depths of 15 - 25 meters and serves as a popular resting spot for sharks. Divers frequently encounter grey reef sharks and silvertip sharks, especially when there are incoming currents.

Aside from shark sightings, divers exploring Sharks Tongue will also be treated to a diverse range of marine life. Turtles, dense schools of surgeonfish, oriental sweetlips, fusiliers, copper snappers, and black and whitetip reef sharks can be spotted gracefully navigating through the coral blocks.

With excellent visibility reaching up to 35 meters and a maximum depth of 30 meters, Sharks Tongue provides an exceptional underwater experience. This dive site is perfect for advanced and expert divers who are eager to observe sharks and vibrant marine life.
