Medhu Outside

Located on the outer reef of Medhufushi Island in the Maldives, this dive site offers an incredible underwater experience. With an elongated Faru extending endlessly, the top of the reef is adorned with coral blocks, creating a fascinating sight at a depth of approximately 30 meters. Divers can also explore a breathtaking drop off that descends beyond 50 meters.

The site showcases a diverse range of marine life at various depths. In the shallow waters ranging from 5 to 12 meters, divers can encounter graceful turtles and large shoals of long-nosed surgeonfish. As divers venture deeper into the steep outer reef, which spans from 12 to 33 meters, encounters with white-tip sharks, barracudas, and hunting tuna await.

With visibility reaching an impressive 17 meters and a maximum depth of 23 meters, divers of all levels – from beginners to advanced and expert divers – can immerse themselves in this captivating underwater world at Medhufushi Island.
