Maalhaveli Outside

The reef situated on the eastern side of Maalhaveli Island is an expansive Faru that lies on the outer periphery of the atoll. This particular spot is positioned between the renowned "Boahura Express" in the north and "Medhufushi Outside" in the south. The reef's shallowest point starts at a depth of approximately 8 - 10 meters and slopes at a 45° angle to reach a depth of around 30 meters.

Divers can expect a remarkable opportunity to encounter various marine creatures such as turtles, sharks, tuna, and an abundance of shoaling fish. Additionally, divers may come across parrotfish, snappers, and surgeonfish in significant numbers.
