Scoglio Ferale

To begin your dive, we typically moor a dinghy on the eastern side of the rock in water that is around 5-6 meters deep. As you descend into the water, you will notice the sea bottom mimicking the morphology of the aerial part of the rock, with vertical cracks running across the wall. These cracks lead down to sandy areas and small patches of Oceanic "Posidonia". You will also encounter numerous stones covered in beautiful orange sponges.
As you venture towards the open sea, you will reach the maximum depth of 19 meters. Here, you will be greeted by a large number of Leptogorgia sarmentosa fans in various chromatic variations. It's not uncommon to come across sargos, dentexes, and salpa. Additionally, barracuda shoals are frequently spotted in this area. Divers will also have the opportunity to observe congers, morays, octopuses, and other marine life seeking shelter among the rocks.
With its excellent visibility of up to 9 meters, Ferale Rock offers an ideal diving experience for beginner divers. Whether you choose to dive during the day or embark on a thrilling night dive, this site is sure to provide a memorable underwater adventure.
