Playa - La Garita

This dive site in the Mediterranean part of the Island of Tarifa offers an opportunity for divers of all levels. Accessible from both the beach and a boat, it provides a depth range from 0 to 12m. With a combination of rocky and sandy bottoms, this location is perfect for practicing buoyancy skills. Additionally, there is a large shallow water area that is protected from the westerly wind, making it an ideal spot for night dives.

Divers visiting this site have the possibility to encounter various marine species such as sandy bottom life, sand dabs, sand eels, spider fish, turbot, rat fish, and a diverse range of nudibranchs in the rocky areas.
