Nitrox Garden is a stunning dive site located in the heart of the lagoon, just a short 15-minute boat ride from our dive center in the Dominican Republic. This dive site offers a truly immersive underwater experience, but it is important to note that it is only suitable for advanced divers due to its depth, with a buoy anchored at 20m.

The Nitrox Garden is a perfect location for divers interested in specialties such as Deep Diving, EAN (Enriched Air Nitrox), and the XR programs. As you descend into the depths, you'll be greeted by a vibrant landscape adorned with an abundance of hard corals, boulders, and intricate small canyons that serve as a home to lobsters, crabs, and fascinating moray eels.

The underwater life at Nitrox Garden is truly remarkable. Keep an eye out for majestic groupers, colorful triggerfish, elusive octopuses, and even the notorious lionfish, which unfortunately invade these waters. This dive site offers a unique opportunity to observe a diverse range of marine species in their natural habitat.

For those who are ready to explore the depths, we recommend a dive plan that starts by heading south from the buoy until reaching the desired depth, and then continuing west towards the adjacent secondary reef. This secondary reef, accessible via a depression at approximately 25-30m depth, offers another captivating environment to explore. Upon circling the second reef, divers can then return to the anchorage following the opposite course.

It is essential for divers to carefully manage their bottom time and adhere to the remaining dive time limits. With a maximum depth of 28 meters and visibility reaching up to 14 meters, Nitrox Garden promises an unforgettable experience for experienced divers seeking adventure and natural beauty.
