Murner See Rutsche

Located on the southern shore of Lake Murner See in Germany, our dive site at the former open-cast lignite mine offers an exciting underwater adventure. Known as "Slide," this site features a unique metal material slide that starts at around 5 meters and takes you down to a maximum depth of approximately 40 meters. As you descend, you'll be greeted by a stunning underwater forest in the shallower areas. The acidic water found here provides consistently good visibility, allowing divers to fully appreciate the surroundings.

Although the fauna may be limited due to the effects of the lignite open-cast mining, you can still encounter scattered perch, the occasional pike, and even a noteworthy big catfish. Will you be the one to spot it?

With a visibility of 6 meters and a maximum depth of 18 meters, this dive site is suitable for divers of all levels, from beginners to advanced and expert divers. Whether you're just starting your underwater journey or looking for a new challenge, Slide has something to offer everyone.

Conveniently situated near Erlebnispark Wasser-Fisch-Natur in Wackersdorf, Bavaria, our dive site provides an excellent opportunity to combine diving with other nature-focused activities in the area.
