Brückelsee

Entry from the bank over a gentle slope (caution: risk of slipping). The depth at this dive site reaches approximately 18 meters, making it suitable for beginners with its flat areas. Experienced divers and experts can explore depths up to 55 meters.
Although the underwater vegetation is beautiful, the presence of fish is scarce due to the acidic pH value from the former brown coal opencast mine.
Murner See and Brückelsee are exceptional dive locations suitable for divers of all levels. These original and flooded open-cast lignite mines offer good visibility with their high pH value but have limited aquatic life. It's important to adhere to the diving regulations set by the Schwandorf District Office, including prohibited diving zones, approved areas, and designated entrances. To obtain a parking permit for access to the diving entrance at the pump house, simply visit the snack/beer garden in Rauberweiherhaus during their opening hours (Waldweg 3, 92442 Wackersdorf, 09431/279).
