Medicare

Right in front of the Medicare facility on land lies a dive site that offers a great diving experience for beginners. With a mild current, divers can explore both Medicare South and Medicare North. The dive begins with a steep rocky slope that descends to a maximum depth of 20 meters at Medicare South and 25-30 meters at Medicare North.

This dive site is teeming with a diverse range of marine life. Divers can encounter vibrant shoals of unicorn surgeonfish, sweetlips, various snapper species, angel fish, groupers, pygmy seahorses, and titan triggerfish. These colorful creatures thrive amidst the vast reef, displaying a breathtaking scene alongside soft and hard corals, black corals, whips, sea fans, and a variety of colorful sponges.

Throughout the dive, divers can spot schooling fusiliers, agile nudibranchs crawling at supersonic speeds, as well as fascinating creatures such as giant frogfish, scorpionfish, stonefish, pipefish, ghost pipefish, garden eels, blue-spotted stingrays, razor shrimps, batfish, and schooling barracuda. Occasionally, impressive visitors like mackerel, giant trevally, whale sharks, tuna, rainbow runners, and turtles pass by, adding to the excitement of the dive.
